Naked Lunch Thesis



Shifting from a casual conversation to a heated debate in Naked Lunch, Michael Hollinger utilizes phallic, manly symbolism, unnoticed sarcasm, and stereotypical characterizations to convey how violent, corrupt people may blow little issues out of proportion, creating domestically violent relationships.

  1. This is really good, but shouldn't the title be in quotations? Also, I think you should have stayed with only one adjective per device so that it is all parallel, instead of having two adjectives with the first device and only one adjective with the second and third devices.

  2. I like the shift you used, but I also agree with Ali, in the saying you should probably only use one adjective for each, instead of having one device with two adjectives and the rest with only one each.
